Russell NadelI joined the Association to better network with other education professionals - especially important for a first-year teacher like myself, I thought - and to protect myself in case of "the worst." Over the last year, though, my membership has turned out to mean so much more. I had the opportunity to attend the state-level conference with hundreds of my colleagues - an eye-opening and educational experience, to say the least! I was also fortunate enough to receive a $500 state-level Association grant for funding for purchasing musical instruments for my general music classroom. I value my membership and look forward to using it for every cent it's worth.

M. CulhaneReluctantly, I joined the FEA over thirty years ago. My mother, a teacher, made me do it. A beautiful career unfolded and I was looking forward to sailing over the finish line. In the eleventh hour, a freak accident occurred at school.

The ugliest nightmare began but my heroes and heroines were determined to push the dark and heavy clouds away. FEA stepped up to the plate and hit a GRAND SLAM for me!

Never in my wildest imagination did I, the infallible one, think I would need their services to fight a legal battle. Joining FEA was and still remains, the smartest professional move I ever made!!!
