Happy American Education Week!

We want to thank you for all your hard work this school year. We know that it already seems overwhelming during this fall season. FEA continues to advocate through YOU, our members, to continuously improve our working conditions and student learning conditions. The work that you are doing everyday matters. Do not give up!

In the coming weeks, take time for you wherever possible. We know that the shortage of staff, including a lack of substitutes, is causing more stress in an already thinly stretched workplace. Make an effort to leave the work at work. Every day, find something (no matter how small), that you are proud of and celebrate. Try not to dwell on the challenges of each day. Let this year continue to move past us, while doing your best to meet the needs of your students. Know that it won’t be like this forever.
